     Welcome to the Gulf Central Region (Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Tennessee,) of Clan MacLeod Society USA. This website is part of the Clan MacLeod web system ACMS, USA and other regional sites. We do not try to duplicate information that exists in the other Clan MacLeod web sites, but use hyperlinks back to the original information. I invite you to explore all the content of this, and other MacLeod sites, and find out how Clan MacLeod can bring kinship to you.
 
     Clan MacLeod Society USA was established during the world travels of Dame Flora MacLeod of MacLeod, 28th Chief of MacLeod, as she encouraged MacLeod descendants everywhere to form Clan MacLeod societies. The USA society was founded in Chicago in 1954.
 
     If you are reading this, you are probably either a MacLeod or MacLeod descendant…or like me, a descendant of a sept (associated family) of Clan MacLeod, or someone with an interest in Clan MacLeod. Any one of these entitles you to join Clan MacLeod Society USA. Of all the Scottish clans, Clan MacLeod Society has a rich international social fabric in which you will find a warm welcome, and sense of fellowship. As members of Clan MacLeod Society USA, we meet regularly at Scottish games / festivals and social gatherings in our region and elsewhere; at annual general meetings of the Clan MacLeod Society USA; at the North America Gatherings (USA & Canada); and we meet at Dunvegan Castle on the Isle of Skye for Clan Parliament every four years. The content of this site supports our goal of improved communications with the following pages:


• Coming Events - List of events by state, which would include highland games, Burn’s dinners, picnics, ceilidhs, banquets, get-togethers and meetings.
• Regional Officers - list of regional officers, both commissioners and coordinators by state. The page includes e-mail and locations.
• Newsletter - a synopsis of what is happening with Clan MacLeod Missouri Valley Region and with the webpage itself.
• Event Photos – Pictures of our members and officers at events, and social gatherings.
• Septs - Just because your name isn't MacLeod doesn't mean that your family isn't part of the Clan. Look at the sept page for your Surname or name of other family members.
• Sites -is a listing of other Clan MacLeod sites that you might find interesting.
